Information service, not a trading service

NairaRate publishes comparisons and calculations. It does not open trading accounts, accept deposits, custody cryptocurrency, execute orders or guarantee that an exchange will honor a displayed quote.

Rates and calculations

Market data can become stale within seconds. A displayed price may change because the underlying marketplace changed, an offer was filled, an exchange updated its book or a source temporarily stopped responding. Calculator results are mathematical estimates based on the rate currently available to the page.

Verify before acting

Before sending money or cryptocurrency, check the exchange's own screen for the final price, fee, payment method, minimum, maximum, merchant details and transaction status. If the exchange and NairaRate disagree, use the exchange's current quote.

External services

Links to exchanges are provided for convenience. NairaRate is independent unless a page explicitly says otherwise. An external link does not mean that the site guarantees the service, its security or its availability.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to overload the site, bypass access controls, interfere with its data sources or use the service to facilitate fraud, impersonation or other unlawful activity.
